Introduction talks

First we get to know each other via an online call or during a coffee in our office in Amsterdam, or on your location. If we feel that there is a good match we proceed to the Discovery Call.

The sourcing process

Once we continue we sign our Master Services Agreement (still non-binding) and we start our internal & external candidate search. Together we define the acceptance process & criteria. Usually this consists of one interview with the client and two with our HR-staff. Code-challenges are optional. During the Sourcing process we also negotiate the exact rates.

Most asked questions about our Laravel Development services

How does our cooperation begin

It starts with a Discovery Call. Afterwards, we create a cooperation essentials sheet where we put the contracting information, contact details, how we approach a specific position, etc. Such a document is confirmed with you, and then we sign a Master Service Agreement (which covers NDA needs). This allows us to kick off further actions to look for the best candidates and start our cooperation.

What do I actually pay for?

Our clients only pay for the actual worked hours of their team. We don’t bill our clients for internal training hours, we don’t bill for sickness, bank holidays and holidays and we don’t bill any setup and recruitment fees. All those costs are for Amsterdam Standard. So this is already a huge saving compared to having someone on your own payroll. The only possible additional extra costs might be paid over hours (with a surcharge in the weekend) and traveling expenses and daily allowance fees for when your team visits the Netherlands on your request.

Can my team visit our office in the onboarding period?

Yes, you are very welcome to visit your team during the onboarding period. We can help you to organize the whole business trip.

How do you ensure that the communication is good?

A dedicated Project Manager stays in close contact with both the development team and customer, especially during the onboarding phase, but also during the whole project. He’s helping with the process set up, including meetings, daily updates, channels and frequency of communication. We appreciate day-to-day contact.

What if I am not happy with my team members?

You should reach our Delivery Manager that will solve this problem directly with you based on your requirements and current available specialists.

What kind of training and workshops do you provide?

At the onboarding stage, we train team members on the chosen project management framework (this depends on the setup with each client but the general goal is to make sure that the knowledge about practices is well unified). Depending on the needs, we might offer further, comprehensive training for Product/Business Owners before kicking off the project. Based on the analysis of the existing knowledge within the team after the general session, we can run a series of extra topic-specific training, such as estimations, Agile, Jira, Confluence, roadmap management, team communication, etc. What’s more, within our group SaaSmore we cooperate with our sister company Expandior who offer professional training on various industry-related topics (not only project/team management, but also data, business intelligence, AI, etc.), all available for our partners, read more here: https://www.expandior.nl/academy/.

How many people should be in my team from day one?

You should have at least 2-3 specialists involved in your team from the beginning. This is mitigating a risk that they will leave the project due to lack of colleagues that can work with.

How much time do you need to onboard my full team?

It depends on the initial requirements. It's a matter of the amount of needed specialists, technical stack, skills, notice period, situation on the market etc. Usually it takes us between 1-3 months.

What is our business model?

We build and manage off-shore teams. Real teams with holistic management.
